Obedience is an action taken based on the Confidence, trust, and reliability of the one giving the Instruction.
A patient obeys a doctor because the patient trust the doctor’s Knowledge.
A believer obeys God because he trusts God’s love, wisdom and faithfulness.
[Proverb 3:5] shows that obedience flows from trust not from fear alone, obedience Cancels error. That is, the antidote for error is following instructions to the latter. Obedience redirects our steps and positions us for divine results.
Obedience cancelled the error Isaac would have made and made him to prosper.

Egypt looks more super and reliable but chose to obey God based on trust and he prospers
