What is Foundation?
A foundation is the base, root, or underlying structure upon which something stands or is built (Psalm 11:3).
Spiritually, foundation means:
• The spiritual condition
• The spiritual structure
• The spiritual platform
What is Rain?
Rain is water that falls from heaven to refresh, nourish, and produce fruit (Deuteronomy 11:14).
Spiritually, rain represents:
• Divine visitation
• Outpouring
• Refreshing
• Revival
What is Glory?
Glory is the manifested presence, power, and weight of God. In (Isaiah 6:3), “The whole earth is full of His glory.”
Spiritually, Glory means:
• God’s visible presence
• God’s power revealed
• God’s holiness displayed
Rain of Glory
The Rain of Glory is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that releases the manifested presence and power of God upon a person, church, or nation.
Spiritually, Rain of Glory is:
• The Spirit poured out (Isaiah 32:15)
• Producing visible glory (Isaiah 6:3)
THE MAJOR FOUNDATION OF THE RAIN OF GLORY IS “THE HOLY SPIRIT”
The glory does not come first, the Spirit does.
Therefore, the Holy Spirit is the foundation upon which the glory rests.
OTHER FOUNDATIONS THAT SUPPORT THE RAIN
Though the Holy Spirit is the major foundation, certain spiritual conditions must be in place:
1️⃣ Holiness [Isaiah 6:3]
2️⃣ Brokenness and Humility [Isaiah 6:5, Psalm 51:17]
3️⃣ Prayer and Waiting [Zechariah 10:1]
The rain is requested before it is released.
WHAT TO DO TO EXPERIENCE THE RAIN OF GLORY
① Desire the Spirit Deeply
② Repent and Purify Your Heart [Isaiah 6: 6–7, Matthew 5:6]
③ Ask for the Outpouring [Luke 11:13]
④ Yield Completely to the Spirit [Galatians 5:16]
⑤ Stay in the Atmosphere of Worship [Isaiah 6: 1–3]
