Can: means to have the power or means. To have the possibility.
“God Can” In this context means that God has all the power, means, and possibility to make things that are beyond human imagination happen.
Zephaniah 3:17 reveals that our God is a strong warrior who is capable of saving his people.
Psalm 107:21 God is not just powerful; He wants to see His power revealed in the lives of His people. He desired that His power be made manifest in your health, business, career, education and family.
GOD’S DISTINCTIVE CHARACTERISTICS
1. Omnipresent; (Jer 23:24) everywhere at the same time.2. Omniscience(Psm 147:5): absolute knowledge.
3. Omnipotent: all powerful (Jeremiah 32:17).
Luke 18:27 Ever since the fall of man, mankind has been separated from God and could not be redeemed except through His own work on the cross.
THREE LEVELS OF POWER THAT COME FROM GOD
1. Through encounter (Mark 5:26–29).
2. Through relationships.(John 1:12)
3. Principles and Laws.(Genesis 8:22)
God’s power works based on a response system (Jeremiah 33:3, Psalm 145:18).
HOW DO I ENGAGE GOD’S MIGHT TO MY FAVOR?
1. Righteous living
2. Through heartfelt prayers (James 5:16).
3. Through the power of perfected praise (Proverbs 3:5–6).
4. Absolute trust in God (Psalm 30:5)
