TEXT: 1 Samuel 7:12

As a people and commission under God, it’s time to give thanks to the Almighty for bringing us into the era of marvels that eyes have not seen and ears have not heard (1 Corinthians 2:9).
No man will prevail beyond their thanksgiving capacity in life and destiny, so an enlarged heart of thanksgiving is also a determinant of man’s supernatural delivery of a new order of super-colorful destiny of wonders of His glory (Proverbs 23:7).
EBENEZER: The word Ebenezer connotes “my stone of help, “according to 1 Samuel 7:12.
Jesus, Our Stone of Help.
1. He never allowed us, as a commission, to journey alone. He gave us the comforter (John 14:16).
2. The comforter gave us joy unlimited (Galatians 5:22, Psalm 32:11).
3. The comforter leads us to sufficiency (Psalm 23:1-4, Jeremiah 30:19).
4. The comforter grants us access to power (Acts 1:8).
5. The comforter is our access to God’s presence (Romance 8:18, Matthew 28:20).
HOW TO RAISE AN ALTAR OF EBENEZER’S
A. Be intentional about it (Psalm 150:6).
B. Be thoroughly purged and saved (John 3:3).
C. Consciousness of a loving heart (1 Kings 3:3a).
D. Let it cost you something special (2 Samuel 24:24).
E. Be sure it is about God and God’s kingdom advancement (Joshua 24:15).
WHAT MAKES OUR STONE OF HELP FUNCTIONAL
i. Faith in God as the doer of all things (Psalm 139:14).
ii. Acceptability of myself as the sacrifice on God’s altar before our gifts is accepted (2 Corinthians 8:5).
iii. The spirit of meekness (1 Corinthians 15:58).
