TEXT: John 12:24
PREACHER: Pastor Bodunrin Timothy
A consecrated life is a life that is totally surrendered to God, it doesn’t discourage others from consecrating unto the lord.
A life consecrated to God will not bend to the right or left when days are hard. (John 12:24)
John 12:24
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
A man that lives a consecrated life yields and surrenders everything to God. They have willing, prompt, and unquestionable obedience
Abraham gave everything to God and God gave him back everything. Isaiah 51:1-2, 2 Samuel 15:15
Isaiah 51:1-2
1 Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
2 Samuel 15:15
15 And the king’s servants said unto the king, Behold, thy servants are ready to do whatsoever my lord the king shall appoint.
If Jesus has sacrificed everything for us. what is it that we can sacrifice to him (2 Cor. 5:14-15)
2Cor 5:14-15
14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
The consecration of Christ is our pattern, model, and example. He came to earth not for his own will but that of the Father (John 4:34)
John 4:34
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
How is your life and consecration today?
Most of the men who became mighty in biblical history were consecrated at different levels.
