The Israelites were taken into Babylonian captivity because of disobedience. They lost their freedom, their homeland, their worship. Like them, we may find ourselves in seasons of loss, delay, Captivity of sin, Captivity of depression, Captivity of broken dreams.
But the goodnews is: God doesn’t forget His people in captivity. He turned Zion’s captivity to freedom without a fight. This was so miraculous, it seemed too good to be true!.
Favour that seems too good to be true is what the Lord will do for you today in the name of Jesus
Just as God restored Zion from captivity:
1. He can restore you from spiritual dryness, emotional pain, financial loss, or delay.
2. He uses people, timing, and even unlikely sources to bring restoration
What is ‘Restore’?
Restore means to bring back into formal or original state.
What is ‘Restoration’?
A restoring to an unimpaired or improved state or condition.
WHAT WILL THE GOD OF RESTORATION DO IN THIS SEASON OF RESTORATION?
In this divine season of restoration, God is not just fixing what’s broken – He is renewing, rebuilding, and multiplying what was lost.
1️⃣ He Will Restore Your Health [Jeremiah 30:17]
God is the Great Physician.
He restores not just physical strength, but emotional and mental health as well.
Whether your pain is seen or unseen, this is your healing season.
Application: Trust God to revive what sickness has drained. Speak healing scriptures daily.
2️⃣ He Will Restore Your Lost Years (Joel 2:25)
God can do in one year what was lost in ten.
The “years” represent wasted time, missed opportunities, or seasons of pain.
God specializes in redeeming time [Ephesians 5:16].
Application: Don’t mourn lost time – expect divine acceleration and fruitfulness.
3️⃣ He Will Restore Every Broken Relationship [Malachi 4:6]
(Genesis 33:4) – Esau and Jacob’s restored brotherhood.
God mends hearts and rebuilds trust.
Marriages, families, friendships – even estranged spiritual relationships – can be healed.
He is the God of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18).
Application: Be open to forgive and reconnect.
