Power means the ability to effect change . It came from the Greek word “Dunamis”. Power could be physical, financial, intellectual, military, political. Every power man has is subjected to the power in the possession of the devil.
Death became the end of man immediately dominion was handed over to the devil ( John 12:31 ) ,( 2 cor 4:4).But Jesus came as a deliverer.
(Heb 2:14-16) says he took up the nature of sin so as to be licensed to go to hell and destroy the power of hell / death( Col 2:15).
Therefore, the power of resurrection is the exceedingly great power of God ever displayed to humans.
John 11:28 reveals that resurrection is the person of Jesus. The entrance of Jesus into your life births the resurrection in you ( John 1:12) .Understanding the power of resurrection puts you in command . The moment Jesus died, the veil of the temple was rent from top to bottom to give us access to whatever blessings God has for us behind the veil .
WHAT TO DO TO RECEIVE THE RESURRECTION POWER OF GOD.
1. You must be born again John 1:122.
2. You must thirst and long for power Psalm 63:1-23.
3. You must sit with the word Romans 1:16
