11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.
What is Glory?
Glory simply means god’s goodness, beauty, power and honour made visible.
Glory is when God’s presence shows up in a way people can see or recognize.
Moses asked for God’s Glory, and God showed Him is Goodness (Ex 33:18-19)
Glory is God’s greatness on display (Psalm 19:1)
Glory can been seen in a person especially in Christ (John 1:14)
In a nut shell, Glory is when God’s presence makes a person’s life chine.
Glory is revealed in Christ according to John 1:14. The wise men did not wait for Jesus to grow up to perform miracles before worshipping him.
What can God’s Glory Do?
*It draws attention (Matthew 2:2)
*It respond to worship (Jesus, Joseph)
*It changes ones level (Daniel)
*It attracts goodies (Matt 2:11)
*It changes direction (Matt 2:12) (2cor 5:17)
What Activate Gods Glory
*Worship activities the shining of glory (Isaiah 60:1)
*Giving release glory (Prov 3:9)
9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase:
*Salvation (2 Cor 5:17)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
