WHAT IS GRATITUDE?
Gratitude is giving thanks not only for what God has done but also for who He is. It is the attitude of the heart that acknowledges God as the source of all blessings. It is a lifestyle of a believer because he/she understands what it means to God.
WHAT GRATITUDE MEANS TO GOD
1. Gratitude is Proof of Humility (James 4:6)
2. Gratitude is God’s Will for Us (1 Thess. 5:18)
3. Gratitude Honours God (Psalm 50:23)
4. Gratitude is a Key that Unlocks His Presence (Psalm 100:4)
HOW GRATITUDE BRINGS GOD’S BLESSING
1. Gratitude Invites Divine Peace (Phil. 4:7)
2. Gratitude Turns Little into Abundance (John 6:11)
3. Gratitude Provokes Divine Intervention (2 Chr. 20:22)
4. Gratitude Preserves Blessing (Mal. 2:2)
Ingratitude Can Causes blessings to be Curses
AFTERMATH OF INGRATITUDE
1. It Leads to Loss of Blessings (Mal. 2:2)
2. It Brings Delay and Destruction (Num. 14.2)
3. It Provokes God’s Anger (Romans 1:21)
4. Ingratitude can Cause Stagnation.
