Therefore, Praise; Access to hidden riches” simply means unlocking the hidden riches through praise.
Through praise, believers honor God, and in response, He often blesses them in ways that go beyond the obvious, providing peace, wisdom, opportunities, and material or spiritual riches stored in “hidden places.”
WAYS PRAISE GRANTS US ACCESS TO HIDDEN RICHES
Unlocking God’s Promises: Isaiah 45:3 speaks of God giving “hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places.” Praise connects believers to God’s presence, where His promises and blessings are revealed. By glorifying God, believers align their hearts with His will, which often leads to discovering unexpected (Psalm 100:4) Psalm 100:4 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Spiritual Riches: Praise shifts the focus from earthly concerns to heavenly treasures. This can lead to deeper peace, joy, and wisdom—gifts that are more valuable than material wealth (Philippians 4:6-7, Colossians 3:16). Philippians 4:6-7 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Colossians 3:16 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Breakthrough and Provision: In 2 Chronicles 20, when King Jehoshaphat and the Israelites faced a vast enemy, they praised God. As they sang, God caused their enemies to turn on each other, leading to victory and plunder. Praise often invites divine intervention, bringing provision and favor in ways that may not seem obvious at first.
