WORSHIP IN ONE VOICE

TEXT: 2 Chronicles 5:13

PREACHER: Pastor Timothy Bodunrin

2 Chronicles 5:13

In this passage, Solomon had just completed the temple. The ark of the covenant was brought in, and something extraordinary happened – not because of the building, but because the people worshipped in one voice.

When worship rises from united hearts, God responds with His presence as evident in our anchor Scripture.

The Bible says:

“The trumpeters and singers were as one”

THE FOUNDATION OF THE MIRACLE

① Unity of Heart (Psalm 133:1)

Where unity exists, God commands blessing.

God Responds to United Worship.

Heaven is moved not by loudness, but by oneness.

* One heart

* One purpose

* One message

When worshippers agree on who God is, God reveals where He is. (Act 16: 25-26)

② The United Voice Focused on God, Not Self

They sang one simple but powerful message:

“For He is good; for His mercy endureth forever.”

True worship magnifies God’s nature, not human ability.

③ Simplicity

God is not impressed by complexity; He is attracted to sincerity.

THE AFTERMATH OF THE UNITED WORSHIP

1️⃣ The Manifest Presence of God (2 Chronicles 5:13)

When worship is united, God shows up visibly.

2️⃣ God Takes Over the Service (2 Chronicles 5:14)

* Human effort stopped

* Divine presence takes over

CONCLUSION

[Matthew 18:19] When the church worships in one voice:

* God’s presence descends

* God’s power is revealed

* God’s glory fills the house.
