TEXT: Isaiah 62: 1-3
PREACHER: Pastor Timothy Bodunrin
“Showers of Glory” speak of a divine visitation where God pours out His presence, favor and transformation upon His people.
In Isaiah 62:1, God declares that He will not rest until His righteousness (nature) and glory (presence) becomes evident that the world can see.
If God refuses to rest, your breakthrough cannot be denied.
When God’s glory appears, it changes how people see you.
Your past labels do not define your future
When glory comes, identity changes
💫 Barriers – Fruitful
💫 Victim – Victor
💫 Ill-luck – Favored
Glory brings honor and visibility. It makes you valuable in the sight of God and man.
You move from being ignored to being celebrated.
THE SHOWERS OF GLORY: WHAT THEY DO
When God releases His glory like rain:
1️⃣ It Washes Away Shame (Isaiah 61:7, Joel 2: 26-27)
2️⃣ It Refreshes Dry Seasons (Hosea 6:3, Acts 3:19)
3️⃣ It Produces Visible Changes (2 Corinthians 3:18, Psalm 126: 1-2)
4️⃣ It Announces You to Your World (Isaiah 60: 1-3)
HOW TO POSITION YOUR SHOWERS OF GLORY
① Live in righteousness (Matthew 5:8)
② Stay expectant in prayer (Luke 18:1, Jeremiah 33:3)
③ Believe God’s Word (Mark 9:23)
④ Reject negative label/embrace new identity (2 Corinthians 5:17, Revelation 2:17)
